カラー化・復元していただきました。

現在、当店がある大通りは住宅が多いですが、

かつてはたくさんのお店がありました。

創業者 鈴木力蔵は銀座で修行を積んだ後、

大正より羽田の地で、玉川屋を創業しました。

創業当時はお砂糖自体が高価で、

機械技術や冷蔵・冷凍技術も、

今ほど発達していないため、

その手ひとつでお菓子を作る技術が必要でした。

またその当時、和菓子だけでなく、

お客さんの求めるカステラ、

今で言う洋菓子も作り、販売もしていました。

その後、関東大震災や戦争を経て、

大正・昭和・平成・令和と歳月は流れても、

その技術と味や、

気持ちを込めてお菓子を作る気持ちは、

二代目・三代目へと紡がれています。

今も昔も同じ羽田の地で、

伝統の味を守り続けております。

Tagawaya, a Japanese confectionary shop foun ded in 1919. 

We celebrate the 100th anniversary of our founding in Haneda,Tokyo.

While maintaining the traditional taste, 

we value the feeling of making Japanese sweets loved by everyone in the region.

Currently, there are many houses on the main street where our shop is located, 

but there used to be many shops.

Founder Rikizo Suzuki founded Tamagawaya in Haneda from the Taisho era （100 years ago）after training in Ginza, Tokyo.

At that time,sugar was expensive,and technology and refrigeration,freezing technology are not as developed as they are today.

In addition, at that time, not only Japanese sweets, 

he also made castella that customers wanted, what is now called Western confectionery.

After that, after the Great Kanto Earthquake and war,

Even if the Taisho, Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa years pass,

The technique, taste, and the passion to make sweets have been passed down to the second and third generations.

We make the traditional taste in the same place in Haneda.
